Derbyshire is a county in the East Midlands of England. Much of the Peak District National Park, part of the Nastional Forest and some of the Pennines lies within Derbyshire.
The county borders on Greater Manchester to the North West, West Yorkshire to the North, South Yorkshire to the North East, Nottinghamshire to the East, Leicestershire to the South East, Staffordshire to the West and South West and Cheshire also to the West.

Bolsover Castle is haunted by a Grey Lady, Sir Charles Cavendish and the apparition of a young woman of a tearful disposition.
The screams of an infant have been heard. Spectral smells and spiritual slaps have also been reported.
