Denbighshire (Welsh: Sir Ddinbych) is a county in northeast Wales. It is named after the historic county of Denbighshire, but has substantially different borders.

Denbighshire has the distinction of being the oldest inhabited part of Wales.

A White Lady is reputed to walk the castle ramparts, and Goblin Tower is haunted by the ghost of a teenager, said to be the 15-year-old son of the castle’s builder, Henry De Lacy.
