Neath Port Talbot is a county borough and one of the unitary authority areas of Wales.
The county borough borders the other principal areas of Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Powys, Carmarthenshire and Swansea. Its principal towns are Neath, Port Talbot and Pontardawe.

Margam Castle is said to be haunted by a White Lady and an unknown male from the Victorian era. There are also plenty of accounts of other types of phenomenon reported.
