The White Horse Inn

Brithdir Mawr

The 14th century medieval hall house of Brithdir Mawr can be found on the slope of Moel Fama. It overlooks Cilcain and Loggerheads. It is reputedly haunted by the ghost of a woman from the middle ages. She is described as wearing a long blue dress and wimple. The savoury smell of cooking is commonly reported. A spectral medieval huntsman has also been reported riding on the track outside the property.
