Killua Castle undergoing renovation

Killua Castle

Killua Castle was built in about 1780 by Sir Benjamin Chapman. It fell into disrepair during the 19th century. In a ruinous condition, it is currently being renovated.

It is reputedly haunted by a ghost that wanders through the ruins after dark. There are differing views as to its identity, and even whether the apparition is that of a male or female.
