The Faceless Monk

According to Coxe, the Newcastle Institute of Psychic Research investigated a haunting here in 1967, whereby the apparition of a faceless monk was reported. This disconcerting phantom was also missing its hands and feet. Sadly, Coxe makes no mention of the exact location of the haunting.

It is situated 10 miles from the border with Scotland, and about 18 miles to the west of Alnwick.
