Vanbrugh Hill

Vanbrugh Hill

A spectral coach and four can be seen travelling between the Ship and Billet Inn and Vanbrugh Hill. It is said to be carrying the ghost of one Lord Angosteen, and is best sought out around 6am on November mornings. His apparition is described as wearing “black velvet breeches and silk stockings”. However, we are unable to fathom just who this Lord Angosteen actually was.
