Frithelstock Priory

Frithelstock Priory

The priory was dissolved in 1536 during the Dissolution of the Monasteries and only ruins remain, and are not accessible without permission. It is said that the ruins “evoke a powerful response” in many individuals, causing some to recount details of a previous life at the location.

Author J.A. Brooks provides an interesting account of a child who appeared to recall a previous life whilst playing at the location

It is believed that is is NOT OPEN to the public.
