A view of Fingest

The Churchyard

The phantom of a “forester of gamekeeper” haunts the churchyard. A local legend tells that this is not in fact a gamekeeper, but the shade of Bishop Henry Berghersh. The same apparition is also said to frequent the road that leads to the manor.
