Church of St Lawrence and 16th Century stable house

Willington Field

The ghost of Sir John Gostwick, who resided in Willington during the 16th Century, was said to haunt various parts of the village.

Although his Manor House is no longer standing, the site is now occupied by a Georgian dwelling. It is claimed that his spectral form walks around this house and the nearby stables, church and dovecote.
