A view of Priors Court

Priors Court

Priors Court (pictured above) is a 16th Century Tudor House, with an interesting history and a long equestrian tradition. It also has quite a haunted heritage for there are a number of apparitions reported here.

These include a woman who was murdered here whilst sheltering from a storm (is this the reported grey lady?); a Cavalier believed to be that of a skeleton being found walled up in a chimney here; a “love-lorn girl” who wanders the courtyard; an unusually-shaped “entity” in a bedroom.
